We couldn’t wait any longer.  The official Winterblast2012 Hilight video is going to be SO GOOD that we just had to give you a little sneak peak!  Keep your eyes peeled for the full length video coming out in the next couple weeks!

No more youthcrossing services the rest of December.

Its the hap-hap-happiest time of the year.  And that means things are rocking here at The Crossing.  First and foremost, we are done with youthcrossing services for the year in order to make room for our SEVENTEEN Christmas Eve services.  Service times and locations can be found below.  We hope to see you there!

Speaking of Christmas, a big thank you goes out to all of our volunteers and everybody who came out to our Christmas parties at Chesterfield and Fenton last week. Two great nights of celebrating.  Check out some footage from the parties.

Big welcome to the newest member of our yc family.  Jon Cook has officially joined our team as Campus Youth Pastor for our Mid Rivers campus.  Many of you have already met Jon, but if you haven’t, head on over to his staff page to learn a little bit more about him.  You can also stalk him on Facebook, Twitter, or his blog.

The next time you see him around Mid Rivers, give him a big fat high-five.

Parents of teens.  Join us in Fenton on 11/29 or in Chesterfield on 11/30 from 6:30-8:30pm for our next youthcrossing parent night.  You’ll get to meet some other parents, learn about the upcoming calendar and get the scoop on Winterblast 2012, one of our kids’ favorite events.  We are also going to feature a guest speaker who will enlighten us with some concrete and realistic ways to support our kids in their journey toward successful adulthood.  AND, as if that’s not enough, we’ll throw in some cookies, just to sweeten the deal.  Hope you can join us.

Hey! Did you see that blur pass in front of you? That was the first half of autumn. It’s gone. This fall has already been full of great stuff for youth, and there’s a whole bunch of goodness coming up, so, hang on tight!

Chesterfield student pick up has gotten a facelift.
Due to increasingly long pick-up lines at the end of Wednesday night services, we’re asking parents to park in a spot to get your kids after the youthcrossing services. The circle is now closed to traffic. This change affects ONLY pick-up at the end of the night. If you’re dropping kids off at 6:30, you can still pull right up to the curb. Thanks for your cooperation!
