Spring Break Mission Experience

Registration for our Spring Break Mission Experience is officially open.  We have two trips scheduled.  Click on the dates to register for the March 19-21 trip or the March 21-23 trip.

From Chrissy Stergos, our youthcrossing Events and Operations Coordinator:

At youthcrossing, our primary focus for our missions and outreach efforts are directed into our own St. Louis area. We headquarter somewhere in the city- for this trip Urban St. Louis K-Life will be our home base. From there, we’ll launch a variety of service projects, doing all sorts of things, from working in soup kitchens, to helping at a farm which benefits refugees, or volunteering at food banks, nursing homes, or boys and girls clubs.  In addition, your kids will experience daily devotionals and debrief times led by staff and volunteer leaders, emphasizing the link between following Jesus and helping others. Registration fee covers everything your kids will need, including all meals and transportation.

If you have other questions, please let us know. E-mail us at youth@wcrossing.org, or call 636-532-1212 during regular office hours.

It’s A Mixer!

We’re officially launching youthcrossing at our Mid Rivers campus on Thursday, Dec 1.  And we’re celebrating by throwing a mixer.  Literally.

If you’re interested in getting involved with youthcrossing at Mid Rivers, come out to the campus on Thursday, December 1 at 6:30 to hang out with other students (AND PARENTS!) from the St. Charles area, play some games, get to know each other, and literally throw a blender off the roof.*

*if we can figure out how to get on to the roof between now and December 1.

Registration is not required, but if you know you’re coming, click here to register… so that we know how loud to turn up the music.

We can’t wait to see you there!

What: An opportunity for all of us to get together and hang out.
When: Thursday 12/1 from 6:30-8:30pm.

May 1 In the Loft Concert Canceled

Hey, everyone, I am so sorry to announce that the Loft Concert for this Friday night, May 1, has been canceled. We had some last minute circumstances come up with some of our regular volunteers which caused them to be unable to attend, and not enough extras to fill in the gaps. Our next concert will be May 29. Hope you can make it then. We'll look forward to seeing you there.

WinterBlast Details

Hello!

We’re counting down the days until WinterBlast and just wanted to send you a few reminders and tips:

  • We will be leaving the church no later than 4:35 on Friday, Feb. 2. Please arrive no later than 4 p.m. so that we can get you checked in, load your bags under the bus and give you any last minute details.
  • I would recommend that you bring a sleeping bag over sheets. There are two different sized beds in each room and there won’t be a way for you to know what size bed you’ll be in until we get there.
  • Please do not bring iPODs, cell phones, etc. at home. This is a weekend to hang out with each other and get away from all of the distractions at home. Leaders will have cell phones incase of an emergency but we won’t be talking on them unless it’s necessary! J

Please let me know if you have any questions and we’ll see you soon!
